Not going to happen, he can get whatever he wants. They are in the Big 12. TCU would have lost them if they were in our situation or still in the MW.

Would be stupid for Patterson to leave now imo. Don't get why he would. He's just now getting to the point where he has worked so hard to get the Froggies.

TCU has put a lot of work into getting a seat at the table. It's a shame to think that Texas could jump to the PAC along with TT, OU & OSU and leave Baylor and TCU on the outside looking in

He's waiting for Bill Snyder to retire. That's his alma mater, and he knows he has a good thing right now. I don't think he'll go anywhere else.

I doubt Chris Peterson would go to Arkansas. He could've had the Tennessee job a few years ago, among others. I think he'll hold out for something better. Apparently he has a son with some illness or disorder and they have a doctor they really like in Boise, thus he's very content there. Has there been any more mentions of him for the Cal job?

They have already pitched him on the hospitals available for his son. Biggest factor now that has not been in the past is the Big East situation. Disintegrating conference vs. SEC. Word here (and of course it is one sided) is that he does not like the Cal area and that Fayettville and Boise are somewhat comparable.

True, but Boise has was in a crap conference when he was offered before. It's not like the "new" BE is any worse than the WAC/MWC he was in before. He could conceivably be in play for the Texas job when Mack retires and has turned down better jobs than Ark before, why take it now? Not saying it wont happen, just curious. Would be a huge hire for Arkansas though
