Since we hosted the bowl for a couple of years, and helped Rice this year, this is somewhat relevant.

Not sure what you mean by the "finally" part...they beat us as recently as 2006 to go to a bowl game.

Maybe with the combine efforts of SMU and Fresno fans not watching the game will force them to close the Hawaii bowl thus making JJ quit and we all live happily ever after

Fellow Mustangs, let's stop complaining until after the Hawaii game. Seriously, this attitude only hurts the team at this point. We can constructively influence SMU, however we need to support the team.
