Defensive line

Postby Hal » Sat Aug 24, 2002 4:24 pm

Everyone knows what to expect from Lute Crow, Warrie Birdwell, Allan Adami and Melvin Williams.

How does Marcus Walker look? What about that freshman, Darrin Johnson (isn't he on the defensive line now?) Any of the other freshman d-line (Martin Guidry, Randy Denman, etc.) look good?

I'm not sure if they're going to play. But I did see Martin Guidry at practice and he's one of the meanest-looking guys I've ever seen. I'd go to war with that guy any day. Of course the question is: can he play?

Guidry is on the o- line from what i have seen..birdwell quit and randy is looking pretty good but with the coaching he will get much better. Karrington from what i have seen and heard is going to be on the sec ond team d-line. So we will be in good shape!

Still no word on Pratt? I went by practice last week, and he was out there sweating with the rest of the guys. He looked good, too.
