I made sure to comment that SDSU and SMU are both future Big east, and that people need to realize a lot of teams coming in are on the rise in hoops..they'll see for themselves though

SDSU is not going BE in hoops, they are FB only. I think they may have a scheduling agreement tho. They'll be in Big West for Oly sports, same for Boise.

Maybe someone can dig up the thread when his name first came up. Just to see how many people were against an old and just a "name".

We backed into Larry Brown because that was not Orsini's first choice. Wish he would have hired him earlier so he could have recruited a better 2012 class as Coach Brown has said. That one moth waiting period hurt.

I am pretty sure I was one. Wasn't convinced that we needed a retread. He hadn't coached in two years and hadn't coached college in 24. So I was hoping we would go up and coming.

But it sure didn't take me long to be convinced. Was at his announcement press conference. He is the real deal and has changed the perception of SMU in bball in a short time. Wow are we lucky. In this case it was better to be lucky than smart.
