Fun fact - most private jets can't fly to Hawaii. They generally don't hold enough fuel. So even for our ultra rich jet owning fans, Hawaii on Christmas is a screw job.

Band is well aware of limitations on basketball, those won't change. I went to 2008 spring CUSA tournament where the women won. I gave up my spot later so that others could go to the NCAA game. This is football, arguably the #1 sport in America, definitely college sports. Pull out all the stops or go home. There's no ceiling on band members in the rules (well, 3000 is probably a bit much).

3,795 miles from Dallas - any of the GIV, GV, G450, G550 & G650 or Bombardier Global Express aircraft will make it. Believe Ford has a GIV or GV.
At every home basketball game and every home and away football game when the band travels. One, that's my point (44 is half the band and if yall are complaining now you will complain again when only half can go to NCAAs) two, you obviously don't know me if you question the last time I saw the band.

Probably not so much, since basketball is a spectator event for any band. Football is more of a time and effort commitment, since you start in August learning the pregame/halftime shows and traditional Diamond M formation. Several hours a week go into performing halftime shows. Basketball games take much less effort, and therefore taking less members to a tournament or switching off members where some go to certain cities versus others going on other trips would be acceptable to most (at least I would hope).
Why not each member of this board of make a donation to the Band to raise the funds need to send the entire band to the game. I know it is Christmas but I am sure we can all spare a few dollars to help the band.

Not to discourage donations to the band, but Hart said its logistical not financial. As someone who tried to get out there last go around it is not out of the realm of possibility that he is telling the truth.
But if it is financial or if money helps, we can sure lead the way. We raised over $6500 to produce Thaddeus's promo video.
