New "Commit"

JUCO OL

Seems we have a bigger need at Guard (he said he's been told the coaches like him at tackle). Headline said we landed him but not committed officially yet.

I don't know where you got that he is not officially committed yet. In the article is says he called Coach Odum last night and committed. He is officially committed to SMU. Also, this whole recruiting class has nothing but guards in it. OUR NEED IS AT TACKLE NOT GUARD. I hope he works out at a position that is new to him.

At the end, he says he's still taking his trip to Maryland and it comes down to us and Maryland but he likes SMU. All I'm saying.

Also, we have a bigger need at guard. Next year, Gottshalk and Lowe have the tackle spots plus Myers, Reich, Weeks, Chewey, Briggs are all tackles. We have some guards but I don't know how good any of them are (maybe Rice, Hughes, but can't think of any others - the 2 starting now graduate).

SMU is recruiting him as an OT-WSU wants to make him a Guard

I would have thought guard, because we definitely have some needs there, but if we are recruiting him as a tackle I think that throws up some big red flags about who we have on campus...

Kelvin Beachum is 6'3".

I'll take some too-short tackles like Beachum all day.

When Palcic got here and did not see talent like he had at UCLA I think that is why he started bad mouthing them to you and others. There were a lot of mental errors last year on the line which shows bad coaching. Palcic has not leg to stand on since his UCLA lines were bad while they had talent. UCLA lines were very good this year. So now Palcic will have to do a better job of coaching than he did this year or we need a better OL coach.

i think our O line performed better then expected this year. The only part of the offense that did, except for Line.

"we all"? Ridiculous.

Jonathan Ogden, Joe Thomas and Gabe Carimi would disagree too.

He may have had individual talent at some schools but the UCLA lines were terrible under Palcic.
