If I had to guess:

Margus Hunt: Rounds 2-3
JG Davis: Rounds 5-6
Taylor Reed: Rounds 4-5
Zach Line: Rounds 5-6
DJ3: Rounds 5-6

Im sorry, but McJunkin has no shot at playing in the NFL. He was a below average Lineman for us this year. Granted, he was playing out of his Center position, but he is not an NFL player.

This is the kind of feedback I was looking for and this thread hasn't turned on itself yet. Thanks.

Zach will get drafted by a team that appreciates gritty players - like the Patriots.

Margus obviously gets drafted as well.

If DJ can put up a good 40 time he will get drafted late - especially with what Emmanuel, Aldrick, and Cole are doing.

Agree. JGD was a special teams beast for us, same with Zach.

4th or 5th round for either of our undersized LB's would be very high. i think 6-7 is more likely. McJunk is not drafted. Line is probably 3-4. i think Margus is 2nd round. DJ is undersized so he will go late but maybe not at all.

I love all those guys but the NFL is tough sledding if your frame starts out a bit small - and all of those guys except Margus has a small NFL frame for their position. only Line overcomes that.

My list is guys that I know for a fact had scouts (and I do mean the plural) come to practice this year starting in the fall to see them, look at film and talk to coaches. I’m talking meaningful visits and inquiry. Some are my comments and others what I heard said about them.

1) Mr Hunt … I don’t think he will be a first rounder. A ton of upside, but still learning and work to do and some unknowns … 2-3 round IMO
2) Zack. If it was based on heart, effort and toughness, he is a first rounder. I don’t know if I put Zack with Toby Gerhard, and while he is tough enough … trying to play and learn LB at the NFL level (and skipping college) .. not likely. If he gets drafted 6-7 IMO. But defiantly a UFA and the opp that Zack will make the most of (special teams and blocking) will be a plus. I think Zack has a chance to stick
3) Bryan Collins … IMO opinion a sleeper with great potential … UFA
4) Aaron "Spike" Davis. Not at a DL, some folks are very interested in him getting down to 250-255 and playing FB. I think Spike has as much upside at FB in the NFL as Zack. He runs and moves as well for that position, and we all know his motor and passion. IMO UFA and a chance to stick.
5) Cameron Rogers … please no haters, lets keep it positive. Hard year for injuries (shoulder) and now a broken ankle keeps any hope a non-issue (at least this year). They like his smarts/discipline and athleticism …. He would have impressed with his measurables guaranteed on pro-day. IMO UFA or camp invite … spectator now, unless he wants to work back.
6) T-Reed, I would draft him, but I think his size makes it more likely a UFA (maybe 7th) … but I believe he will stick … I truly do. Great instincts and aggressive … gritty competitor.
7) JG puzzles me. Has all the talent in the world and can be a game changer. Maybe a little small for OLB in the NFL, but he might be able to carry anther 15-20 and keep his speed/quickness. The biggest question is discipline (assignment, a lot better this season) and work ethic. JG has to be pushed and re-focused a lot. IMO UFA, maybe late round and he does have the skills and ability to stick … it’s up to him.
8) DJ, no doubt the success of ES, AR, Cole will help his cause a lot. His drops hurt this season, but the potential he shows, his jaw dropping catches, and big play ability helps. I think his pro-day will be very critical … times and precise routes with little if any drops … I think DJ might sneak into the late rounds.
That is all the players I know of and the comments … I probably missed some. Certainly Blake, Jordan, Pitt and others will get a serious look at Pro-Day. Pro-Day can make a serious difference and influence opportunities … just ask Cole, Bryan MaCan, Steerling.

PSCA, why do you think Line will be projecting as a LB?

Line will go much higher than the late rounds. I think 3 or 4. He is going to be the top FB in the draft.

Collins is an interesting observation. He is more suited for guard than tackle, he was playing out of position this season.

3rd round is very early for Line. He's a great college player, but not a guy you draft in the 3rd round. he is not a feature back in the NFL and I think his 40 time will hurt him....guys like bernard pierce, lamar miller, bryce brown were all drafter in the 3rd rd or later last year.

In this years draft there might not even be a RB in the 1st round, G. Bernard from UNC is the best RB (if he comes out) and he is probably a 2nd rounder.

I don’t think Zack projects as a LB in the NFL. I was referring to a comment in the first post by the author. Not that I don’t think Zack could have been a good collegiate LB, and consequently a possible NFL LB prospect. But, not playing the position in college (he would be an ILB); there is too much going on at that position. With the NFL game speed etc., I think that is too huge of a learning curve to expect from someone.

As alway, I reserve the right to be totaly wrong and full of crap .... no comments please.

After watching the very exciting Washington Redskins offense designed to accomodate RGIII, I think Line would be a great addition to their style of offense and use of multiple backs.

The only first rounder on our team will be Margus (maybe). I dont think the other guys will have much of a chance in the first 3 rounds. I think DJ missed his chance. He didn't play well at all. A few catches here and there will not take you to the big leagues. JG and Reed maybe 4th or 5th round. ZL deserves a first round, but since he doesnt have the characteristics of a RB so he will be later draft pick. Im just being honest, our best pick last year was 3rd round and then i believe the next one was 5th or 6th...so just saying...

Margus is a 2nd rounder at best. Most likely end of 2nd to early 3rd. His production did not always match his freakish combine numbers. A lot of teams might not want to take a chance on a 24 year old who is that raw so early.

Our resident Redskins fans on here would lose it if they add a fourth Mustang!
