Guess what---that is what the coaches and football team signed up for, but that hasn't stopped them leaving before "Varsity" . And, no I am not affiliated with the band or spirit squad in any way. I am a stay till the end (ugly or not) alum.
Well played I'm4. That's the most vitriol I've ever felt for a person ever since a drunk linebacker tried to fight me at 3 A.M. at Relay for Life my senior year. Luckily he was smart enough not to follow me and I called the campus PD on him. Fun times.

add to that football players get a full college paid ride and band get what? $1000 each. I'm not a band guy but I recall JJ and the team (except for maybe two players), walking off before Varsity was played. I would prefer giving all the band members another $1000 and NOT going to support June Jones. Other schools bands don't go to this weenie bowl but SMU sends the band to support June Jones. I can't even explain that.

You kid but I'm serious. It was April 16th, 2011 and he had a smaller friend acting like Kevin Hart and bragging how the guy was a D-1 athlete. Turns out the guy was from Texas Tech and didn't even know him before that night.
I'm not internet tough. I will gladly step in the ring with you when my knee surgery heals.
The guy was smart. There was more trouble if he would have scrapped regardless of the outcome. I don't believe he was removed from the school for the threats but he would have been had he had the drunken courage to actually follow through.
