wow. reading that thread, you'd think Fresno CC is the SEC champ. Seems like no one in the nation can hang with them. Yet they are relegated to playing in Hawaii against us.

I think we beat them if for no other readon than their posters seem like a bunch of [deleted].

That said what fans we do have are great, loyal, love our team and our players and hope for the best. If that's what they construe as confidence then I hope we are always confident.

At least we can say we have fallen on hard times, but at one point not too long ago were in a premiere conference i.e. The SWC. Where did they come from? DII to Big West to WAC to MWC and they think they are big time lol!

I know, but our time in the WAC constitutes our lowest point in our history. On the other hand that is the extent of their history. Their best bowls have been the Las Vegas Bowl and the Aloha Bowl. Trent Dilfer, David Carr, Paul Pinegar, Bernard Berrian, Rodney Wright are their best players. They don't have a single college football hall of famer or pro football hall of famer. Even UNT has a pro football hall of famer. Sorry, but this is exactly what I mean when I say we need to be realistic about who we are. That said, Fresno State is not the team to make fun of our program.

i agree. back when we were in the WAC, EVERYONE beat us. that's not a fair comparison. this year's team would have beat most of our WAC teams handily.
