For him to be able to do that makes me think the man is pretty damn smart. Could you pull that off? Give him an extension along with his bowl incentive bonu$.

Maybe we should hire the Trustee for Madoff-I read today that he had recovered 60% of the money Madoff stole. If we could get back the half June hasn't earned in recruiting then we could buy him out.

Would've liked Kingsbury though

How is JJ staying here to be considered "working out" for us?

I simply meant I don't see any other likely candidates for the job. All that's left either won't ever happen or is a worse option than sticking with June.

Just my opinion, I may not know about some other candidates....

Yep, let's build a statue of June as a reminder for all future coaches of the success that can be had at SMU if only they put SOME effort into recruiting.

How would Morris be worse than June? Or DeRutyer?

Agreed. We need to get Morris quickly before someone else does!

I've never been JJ to the death. I just get sick of your constant b!tiching. You must be a lot of fun to hang out with.

The powers that be could not care less about the immature carping about the coaching staff and players that takes place on this board. The big donors have contacts at all levels of the college and pro football world and they know what they can get for the money. On the other hand, recruits and their parents do read the carping and the obsessively critical naysayers do nothing to win over these people who are very important to the future of our program. The same goes for those who call our players names, including one genius who decided that one key player who played most of a season with a broken foot was a "clown" because he had a bad game.

The inscription will read

Per Football Scoop:

Texas Tech: Anderson Independent-Mail writer Greg Wallace reported that Kirby Hocutt is in Clemson today to interview Chad Morris.

Gray has spent like 25 days of his life in college coaching.
