CometWanted to thank everyone that has expressed concern for Chris. We were there for his surgery and then I went again this weekend. Once the pain subsides, I know he will be fine. Most important he started class on Monday. He is in better spirits (considering) and I know he will do fine. He will figure our some kind of way to be an asset to the team, even in his condition. After surgery when he talked to Coach B the first thing he asked was " Coach, can I get a cart to come to practice". This was while he was still partially under. See you at the game as "BEAT NAVY"
Re: CometThat's why Chris is a champion to all of us. The guy just got through with surgery to repair his foot, and the first thing he wants to do is get back out to practice to watch his friends, playing the game he loves so much? Chris is a Mustang through and through, and his spirit and enthusiasm are even more valuable to us than his hands and speed. We all hope his recovery is quick and complete, and can't wait to see him on the field next spring.
"What kind of weirdo school are they running over there in Fort Worth?"
