Let's just play 12 games vs Tulane a year and have a 13th "bowl" game in Hawaii.

Wouldn't that mean we'd go 0-13, or 1-12 at best?

P.R. 101 says the school won't say anything right now. Once the next round of movement actually happens (rather than the basketball teams saying they plan to leave), we might get a statement about how "SMU is aware of the changing landscape of college athletics and is committed to competing at the highest level" or somesuch mumbo jumbo, but there's no statement to make now.

What can they really say of any substance?

Are they just going to come out every other day and reaffirm their commitment to the new Big East like San Diego State is doing?

Since an official statement has now been issued about the C7 withdrawing it might be appropriate for RGT to say something. One would have to assume that he has been in contact with Aresco and has been kept up to date on the state of the conference.

way to many unknowns to say anything -- unless you want a "we are doing the best we can"
