The difference is that teo doesnt wear one to every game and probably owns a notre dame shirt in the school colors.

Did he try to change their mascot?

I'm personally offended that Manziel did not wear a big ol' belt buckle and/or blue corduroy FFA jacket
I will not make age an issue in this campaign. I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience.

I couldn't believe the amount of SMU gear he purchased. Caps, sweats, shorts, shirts - he must be giving everyone on his list Mustang spirit stuff. Pretty cool. I was 2-back in the check-out line when I saw the clerk hand him receipt that was about 36" long - and two HUGE boxes of stuff. Gotta love the guy who chooses SMU Bookstore over NorthPark.
My spouse was the guy in front of you in line directly behind LB. He concurred that he was purchasing several SMU items and seemed liked a pretty decent guy, although he looked older than he expected. Our kids got on his case for not telling LB that we thought he was doing an awesome job! I guess some people age more gracefully than others. Another family member that worked with June Jones way back during his NFL days has been surprised at his image at SMU and said he was a great guy to work with when he was younger. Wonder what happened there?

Not a thing "wrong" with June Jones - he's a good guy and we're lucky to have him on the Hilltop... very cordial, pleasant person and a good football coach. Why else would we have hired him? Some folks here have just got their panties in a wad - stompin' their feet because they're not getting their way. You know, the guys who know how to run the public schools, the high school football team, the newspaper, the church and the city. Same people complaining about everything. Typical SMU bulsh. If you're seeking something POSITIVE on ponyfans, you're in the wrong place.

Disagree on the coaching. Some very stupid calls this season. I've never met him personally, but I think his behavior towards the spirit groups is not appropriate and is not good at promoting the SMU program. Just compare him to TCU, UT, OU, or even those lowly Aggies.

There are plenty of things wrong with JJ and how he does things. You may think the good outweighs the bad but that doesn't mean that JJ doesn't have many major faults, we all do.

I've met JJ in person and he's exactly like you'd imagine from his press conferences.
