Cowboys - Steelers
Another matchup of former Mustangs...
Sanders had a catch and fumble overturned to an incomplete pass on the Steelers' first drive.
Beasley with a catch on the Cowboys' first drive.

Re: Cowboys - Steelers
Beach had a pretty good game. Steelers bounced him from guard to tackle a bit. He held his own. Sterling did a decent job. Looks like ES88 took a hit though. Never really saw the field much after his fumble. Gotta hold onto the ball. He is taking some heat from the Steeler fan base.

Beachum played on the offensive line the whole game I think. Sanders dropped a ball after getting hit early and barely saw the field after. Beasley caught both passes thrown his way, and Sterling Moore had a really good game. Blanketed Steelers tight end Heath Miller in the 2nd half.

Re: Cowboys - Steelers
Apparently Emmanuel cracked a rib against the Cowboys. Probably in the play he was targeted and couldn't hold onto the ball. That may be why he didn't play much the rest of the game.

Cowboys stadium hasn't been kind to ES
Re: Cowboys - Steelers
ES did the same thing the week prior, both times a fumble - Cowboys got lucky
Re: Cowboys - Steelers
ES has had slippery hands as of late
Re: Cowboys - Steelers
Speaking of slippery hands. Is that our guys prob w GG? Kaepernick or whatever they say throws a 90mph baseball and a 60 mph football..the pass Crabtree caught was a rocket

Re: Cowboys - Steelers
That was a pretty brutal one two punch ES got in yesterday's game. Don't think too many receivers, if any, out there would have been able to hold on to that pass in that situation.Comet wrote:ES has had slippery hands as of late
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Yeah, I doubt many would have held that, unfortunately it plays into a narrative that is developing.PK wrote:That was a pretty brutal one two punch ES got in yesterday's game. I did not see Beach at guard but they did put another lineman outside of him a few times.

Re: Cowboys - Steelers
Steelers actually had Beach at right guard most of the night. He also flipped to the outside and played right tackle on a handful of plays too. He did a pretty darn good job.The PonyGrad wrote:Yeah, I doubt many would have held that, unfortunately it plays into a narrative that is developing.PK wrote:That was a pretty brutal one two punch ES got in yesterday's game.
