I'm not trying to stir the pot here, as I think it's way to early to pull the plug on JJ for a number of reasons, but if it were to come to that could we consider Willie Fritz? Dude seems like a heck of a coach, now has Texas ties, and would be flying under the radar:

I know what you mean, and I like SHSU's offense.

But, remember what a hot property JJ was when we got him?

Still, Fritz is a temptation.

By the time anyone feels like pulling the plug on June, Fritz will be employed by some other FBS program.

If Willie Fritz wins the NC against North Dakota State on Jan. 5 in Frisco, TX at FC Dallas Stadium then he'll be a hot commodity. If he doesn't, he's 0-2 at the 'big dance'. Still, he's done wonders at my alma mater, Sam Houston State. Can't say I wouldn't mind seeing him on The Hilltop at my 'adopted' alma mater, SMU.

But, for now...EAT 'EM UP, 'KATS! BEAT THE HELL OUTTA NORTH DAKOTA STATE!

(The Div. 1 FCS national championship game is a re-match of last year's game pitting the Sam Houston State Bearkats against the North Dakota State Bison.)
