Not by wearing the color of the opposing team.

Kudos to Rice.

Jesus, let it go. That was 2 years ago and we have a bowl game in less than a week.
Stop crying.

I have seen this said again and again. My question is, does anyone know that June chose the black jerseys for that game? I mean, wasn't that more likely a failure of the "marketing" dept? Or wouldn't the team choose what they would like to wear?

And sheesh just drop it. It's hilarious that the People's Republic of Houston would wear anything to support our troops...

And why the hell did we get rid of the long sleeves from Doak Walker's teams? Surely that's JJ's fault, *&^@#% @$%* %!@E .............

Oh right we have a bowl game.... Uh yay!? Can I blame JJ for my apathy towards his beloved bowl?

Are these, or are these not, awesome helmets?

Do you, or do you not, wish either Jones (or our marketing department) had thought of doing this first instead of Rice?

That is all.

Hmm...since that Maryland interest "mysteriously went public" less than 72 hours before we "honored our opponent" to hawk black gear and then played a garbage game losing to ARMY....nah, not gonna let it go. Maybe if he won 9 games, which he did in year 1 at Hawai'i with Von Appen's players, then we can let it go.

You might want to consult a dictionary.

Yes, they are lovely 3A high school or CFL helmets.

No, I do not wish we had run out helmets like that. The SMU helmet is my favorite in all of college football and should never be altered. Hats (helmets) off to Rice, which I like best (or maybe that's "dislike the least") of all of our opponents. Hope they beat Air Force.
