Hoop max - what's your take on Bernardi this year? Is it pretty much a given who the players will be that won't be back next year due to scholarship limits?

I think Bernardi is a deadly shooter that is struggling w/other aspects of the game at this level. That said, he's improved on D, and he's eaten some important minutes for this team so far. I don't think its a given he's gone at all.

The two that seem to be given, at least by my eyes, are Dickerson & Uche. Those two bring us even. After that, I'd bet you'll see a surprise or two, in terms of ships opening. Kids you wouldn't necessarily expect, but may have other reasons for leaving, see academics or personal/family concerns.

The most interesting follow to me is Cannen. IF I think Blaise or Ben Moore is as good as Cannen, I'm not sure his play has won him any security. Sure, he's a starter, but he's also been unproductive for the most part.

Interested to see if Shawne Williams graduates this Spring/Summer, w/a year left of eligibility. Can't kick him to the curb, cause his Dad is DFW grassroots connected. Might be able to work something out to have him play, but not eat a ship, though

Thanks for the insight. I can understand Uche being on the list, but did LB just swing and miss on Dickerson?

Dickerson was stop gap. When brown let leslee smith go, he thought he had Ben mclaurin on lock. Mclaurin duped the staff, verbals to Illinois and brown chases any stiff w size. After striking out on kids like savon goodman, brown eventually decides to ask leslee back. Smith says hell no, we go after Dickerson. He's never been anything but a miss
