Sorry, but I have to disagree. First of all, you hopefully just read several positive comments on Larry Brown and SMU basketball before entering your diatribe. The fans and spirit squad (band, poms, & cheer love him). Please think about your attitude. What is it that you hate so much about SMU?
The problem is that JJ just hasn't done a very good PR job or a very good coaching job. College is different from the NFL and he has totally dissed the Spirit Squad and alumni over the past 2 seasons that I know of. It's not "cordial and pleasant" to ignore the groups that show up to support you and your team. JJ has made some very questionable coaching decisions this season that naturally call for criticism. Much of this would be easy to overcome if he reached out to those groups and to the SMU community, but it's still the same old show up in black and get the hell out.
