Game Prep

JJ and his staff did incredible. Both sides of the ball were well prepared. Running Gilbert so much was a major adjustment. When was the last time we have seen a QB zone read run? Never under Jones until this game. Fresno was a huge blitz team and Gilbert's running completely took them out of their comfort zone defense.

Hunt seemed to know when to rush outside and when to rush inside and completely embarrassed the right tackle. Hunt looked better prepared to take advantage of his opponent then any time this season.

Now Carr is suppose to be a Heisman candidate but our D (D line) completely rattled him. What did we have, 7 sacks! And the pressure shut down their very potent passing game. To pick 6s and I bet Carr isn't such a loud mouth about being a BSC buster and Heisman candidate.

Though not a major part of the outcome, our special teams did a great job.

And we continued to win when we scored first.

And we have beat two conference champions to end the season. From my perspective, we were well prepared and come to play with a great effort. Big win.

can't argue, June seems to be a heck of a postseason coach. wish he was a little more focused on the preseason. We didnt look ready for Baylor this year. who do we open with next year? Tech and kingsbury? c'mon June, get a big win at Ford.
