Ponyfan - Rivals creates school specific webpages for the schools in certain conferences. SMU should get one next year when we officially start in CUSA.
RedRaiderSport.com is Rival's Tech webpage, however, what they post there is the same that can be found on all their websites. They post the story to the school that it would be good news for. Much like Blake's newest article today, talking about an interest in TCU was posted to PurpleMenace.com.
Good news from that article is that he continues to want to stay close to home and believes SMU is getting close to offering.

Not exactly what I heard but you may be correct. It is still a Tech person talking to them.
Trust me on this one, we are right in the middle of this one.

Not sure if anyone knows how I can share the clips, but Rivals.com has two clips of Blake playing. Seems to play about ten yards of the ball at all times (running and passing plays) but is very quick and puts some good pops on the ball carrier.

Are you sure? Sounds like a generic wannabe reporter to me. I think they just write it from a Tech perspective because that's the specific site it was on.

That is what I meant is that it is a person writing for a Tech website.

No it is not writing for a Tech website...it is writing for RIVALS. The story is then posted to the "impacted" schools site. Much like on Canesport.com right now, you can read how Chane Moline loves USC and can't wait to go there...but still has an interest in Miami. The story is generic to rivals.

Blake has named TT as his top program at the moment. Apparently he tore it up at the TCU nike camp this weekend, running a 4.43 forty.

I saw him listed somewhere recently at 235 pounds. If that's accurate, and if that 40 time is accurate, this kid's going to get a ton of offers.

it's accurate and he has two confirmed times in that range. Watch him become the next "hot" property.

I also would like to watch him announce "I'm going to play for SMU."

That would be great...but he is already getting attention from the whole Big 12 and has stopped mentioning SMU when talking about his top schools.
Need Bennett to make a giant push for this kid!
