I am amazed of the efforts and performances of those Seniors primarily and the SMU Mustang football team to dominate the final two games of their college football careers.. Ending the season with the best performance of the past five years IMO..
Now the momentum.. A recruiting buzz and boost.. Margus drafting in the First Round.. several more Mustangs signing with NFL teams. Jones NFL connections expanding as further recognition of the quality of young man Jones develops.. Potential Recruits noticing the benefits of being coached and prepared for the NFL by Jones and company..
I am excited for the team.. Gilbert is coming along great.. next year he will have a great breakout year helped by more reliance on the pass and less expectancy on young Prescott Line.. I think Gilbert will get rythem... Maybe Gilbert can learn from Johnny Football a few escape moves to go with his north south scramble.
What a beautiful way to end a difficult season and super charge the program... Go Mustangs...

Is this "recruiting buzz" going to start getting us some recruits with BCS offers as it appears we're still going after the "diamond in the rough" players that are "under the radar" of better programs.......

We will be making BCS offers to kids with BCS offers won't we. Maybe we will get some polished diamonds to go with the rough that Jones and Company seem to be very good at developing.

If only June were good at developing his diamonds in the rough into championship-caliber players.

Be more specific as we have ended 3 of the last 4 seasons as champions of the Hawaii Bowl (twice) and BBVA Compass Bowl, CUSA West Division Champions (twice).

I meant conference championship-caliber, I didn't know those ones you listed counted as championships.
