2012 Pony Fan Poster Awards

It's that time of year so I will get it started.

Poster of the Year - I always find Stallion and Hoopmanx insightful, I give the nod this this year to Hoopmanx as BB now has more relevancy.

Best Foreign Poster - ReedFrawg is a class act, but I go with Cougar King as it appears we are now joined at the hip with Coog High.

Most Improved Poster - Stallion's Model T, I now actually enjoy his posts.

Most Prolific Poster - SMU_Alumni11. A true SMU fanatic, keep up the good work.

Newcomer of the Year - Have no idea, many good new posters arrived in late 2011.

Old Pony Award - given to poster who combines both Wit and Wisdom. This is getting silly, but it is Mrydel again. At this rate, we will have to rename the award after him. Keep it up, Funny Man, you are an SMU original.

Best Post of the Year - I nominate Lwjr for his calling of 'Kingsberry' as TTech's next HC.

Which leads us to our final award,

Stupidest Post of the Year - It's not that this was the dumbest post in the annals SMU blogs, which it was, but I think, given the proper context, one of the most ridiculous post I have ever read, period. When Old Sarge / Mitch McConnell accused Travis Bickle of being an Ivy League grad who was talking down to us SMU simple folk, wow I couldn't believe it. Congrats Mitch, you are still remembered at PF.com
