Snob -
look i get the criticism of many aspects of SMU sports - but we just kicked some major tail and had a nice win against a quality opponant - so your constant [deleted] just makes you look kind of stupid at a certain point. Give it a rest.

Re: DMN DISGRACE
Nichols did a better job than Kate H., she consistently did little reporting on Ponies, not sure if it was her or DMN apathy,

Also, at the very top of the front page of Section A, they had the caption "SMU crushes Fresno State 43 to 10".
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Re: DMN DISGRACE
We do not get the DMN print addition in Midland anymore but I thought the on line version had good coverage. Plenty of photos, plus the one of the home page of Margus and a slide show of about 20-25 pictures under the sports section. Also the articles are Nichols wrote show a time of around 11;45 pm. I am guessing that was to late to make the print addition of Christmas Eve. Anyway, I thought the coverage was pretty good on line.

Mine must have been the early edition.
Re: DMN DISGRACE
Mine had it on the front page and had a huge chunk of the sports section! What else do you people want?

I get mine delivered and it had tons of front page coverage. You must have bought a very early edition of the paper or maybe a suburban edition.

Well, like I said, I must have the early edition. I'll stop by the DMN and pick up up the golden goose copy. And "too much Rush" is an oxymoron.

Re: DMN DISGRACE
apparently it was a big story since it got great coverage in my view. dont know how you would expect it to be more then half the front section on the next day.

I want a copy of that edition. Obviously, I got the gone-to-bed-early edition... one home delivery and one at the news stand.
