Too late. Recruiting isn't in Jones' vocabulary. Apparently the term "excellence counts" isn't in SMU's as of now (at least not till we get a coach that wants to be here).

Sorry if this has already been brought up in another thread. But my sources say it looks like this is June's last year at SMU. Kind of a mutual decision and a compromise will be made on the buyout since both parties want to move on.

So if that's true...why not go public with that info now...allow June to coach in the Hawaii Bowl....be all appreciative of what he's done.... 4 bowl games in a row...keep it all positive...and start right now on the new coach search instead of waiting another whole month or more before starting down that road.

The more time we can give the new coach the better chance he would be able to salvage some recruits and not be staring off in such a late in the game hole.

Who was the psychopath? Reinebold had been with Jones for years so it couldn't be him. Klemm is a psychopath?

Also we all know recruiting for ASU doesn't get you fired at SMU.....
