Sweetest Touch in the NCAA

Postby ponyscott » Sun Dec 30, 2012 10:06 pm

Brian Bernaradi.....let him loose....WOW the soft touch is so effortless....the best out there......period! EVERY shot is ALL net ...the iron doesn't come into play.

in LIMITED play his stats are crazy.....from 3 and from 2 point range.

22 BERNARDI, Brian

14-0 138 9.9 16-33 . 4 8
5 13-27 . 4 8
1 10-12 . 8 3 3 1 11 12 0.9 12 0 3 8 0 2 55 3.9

48% from both 3 and 2 point range....

He's like 50% from the three point line and has only shot inside the arc like 6 times all season. Such a beast tonight.

Great to see him find his shot. No doubt he can shoot. I caught Alan's interview with LB after the game and he said that Brian's got the shooting part figured out, it's the other stuff he's got to improve on. Which I interpret as defense. Regardless, i think he can be a valuable part of this team moving forward as a spot up shooter.

He is going to have to show more to keep his spot. This Was against furman. He won't be as open next year, and one dimension doesn't cut it. I like him but hope to see more

His man did score a lot tonight - but you can tell he is getting better on defense and learning from his mistakes. His time will definitely come.
