LB's wife and kids are still in Philly and apparently his wife has no desire to move to Dallas( she has only come here once i have heard) so would guess there may be some discord between the two....being closer together may be a family decision, IF it happens.

That would suck and it certainly wouldnt surprise me knowing Browns past, but then again pro's hate practice and Brown loves practice. Easier to deal with young kids than punk millionares?

Why would someone want to coach or deal with Deron Williams?

Good news - ESPN is reporting Van Gundy is their 2nd choice behind Phil

Now the Nets say they're sticking with Carlesimo, which is odd. I still think they'll go after a big name. The ESPN story mentions Jackson and Van Gundy but not LB.

no NBA team is going to hire LB. We have nothing to worry about except for retirement and hand the reins over early.

It's probably van Gundy, but he refuses to talk to them while someone else has a job there

Van Gundy's daughter is a senior in high school. He is supposed to take a job as soon as she graduates this spring. That was always his plan.

I'll get on the horn. My buddy is assistant to the Nets GM. He stayed at my place this weekend and didn't mention anything to me about it.
