Leonard Washington stepped up big time at the end. Too bad, as this would have been a true quality win.

Plus Jalen scored his first points late in the game.

Good news is our D seems solid and we make our FTs.

Don't think LB has any choice. Might have to sit Cotton for a while, since it looks like he is now playing with 2 bad legs. At least he had sleeves on both legs, so I think he has 2 bad legs. . . Might have to get Jordan Dickerson some burn time (as few as possible)

Poor execution down the stretch.........officiating was very suspect in the second half with some of those calls being very "weak". Was definitely a winnable game tonight. It's a shame that Dickerson is so raw that he can't even get on the court except to burn the final few seconds of the first half.

Anyone hear LBs post game. Pretty honest about the game. Bad execution with the game on the line. He was pretty disappointed about the last play which should have been a three. Not sure what Russell was thinking.

Agree with that. Makes a pass for two point assist when down by three for final shot. Unbelievable.

You stop and think about the game. An undefeated Wyoming team who are ranked 37 in the rpi beat an SMU team with 5 players. Can't wait to watch next years SMU team with all the new talent coming in destroy Wyoming.

Yes it is too bad cause he played a nice game offensively. The offensive rebounds were just as bad.

lets not pat ourselves on the back too much, Wyoming was missing their leading scorer and this was their first game in 2 weeks. being at home, we really shoulda won that one. serious blow to our mild NIT hopes.

When did we ever have "mild NIT hopes?" I've been saying CBI at best since we beat Hofstra. That was an upgrade from my expectations for this season which was no postseason at all. The only people who have been talking NCAA/NIT are those who refused to see the reality of this team, which is that we are short on height and on depth. The reality is that we are a 17 win ballclub.

WYO was a good team and way more than just one person. We could have beaten them but we wore down at the end. Acceptable result in my book...pretty much what I expected to happen. That said, I was hoping for the win.

Exactly. When your primary ballhandlers are expected to score a huge portion of our points, team assists are going to suffer, Also, all that penetrating is going to cause us to turn it over, as you're taking into the D's teeth, every time. We don't hit 3s, and we have no one on the blocks. When you are relying on Nick Russell to play make and score half our points, he's gonna get tired and throw the ball away. Bummer it happened during such a crucial stretch, but he was masterful off the high screen last night into his mid-range. Filthy.

I'm not sure we're a 17 win ball club to be honest, so I have no idea where people's expectations came from.

I have one goal, win a game in the conference tournament. We do that and i will consider it a significant improvement over the Doh era.
