I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewsThese are a must-watch.
There are more honest comments at every one of these than Jason Garrett has made in his career. http://www.smumustangs.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/010213aab.html "We hung with them until the game got out of hand." -DanFreibergerForHeisman
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewsIts a process and I need better players
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewslet's just hope Coach Brown stays healthy and wants to be here for at least the next 3 years; I figure by then SMU is a serioulsy competitive program
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewswe are so lucky to have Larry Brown. Just listening to him is reassuring that he knows exactly what he is doing and where we are heading. This man is a leader.
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewsI just wish they would point a mic at the audience so you can hear the questions.
Who records these interviews, the SID? Just send 'da money.
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviews
That's better than when the mic is in the audience and you can hardly hear the speakers. ![]() Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!! @PonyGrad
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewsAt least he got in a "we do what we do" reference in the press conference!
Peruna is my mascot!
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewsGood stuff.
End of the game was typical SMU syndrome and LB hit the nail on the head: "we can't fear failure." Same thing in football. Bottom line.
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviews
Absolutely, no coach speak when talking about the game or players. He gives an honest assessment of the game. It is nice to actually learn something about the team from a press conference. An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and
doesn't care who wins. -- Dwight D. Eisenhower
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviews
Guessing there has been plenty of work/talk on how to handle key end of game situations after the Wyoming game. Peruna is my mascot!
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviewsThe solution there is coming next year when they have more than a 5 man rotation. Something about that you missed, or were you distracted by watching tcu's horrible basketball team?
Re: I love the postgame Larry Brown interviews
next year we are 10 deep and it's a whole new ballgame
