Utah almost beat #3 Arizona

Postby LA_Mustang » Sun Jan 06, 2013 12:31 am

Former SMU commit Jarred DuBois missed a 3 to tie the game at the buzzer. Arizona won, 60-57.

Bummer. That would have really helped our RPI

Glad Utah was able to hang with them. That means we could possibly hang with some of the better teams in CUSA. 17 or 18 wins could get us to the CIT or CBI post season tournament.

go .500 in CUSA play and we are 18-13 coming into the CUSA Tourney. Win a 1st round game and finish 19-14. My guess is, with Larry Brown at the helm, we get a post season invite somewhere.

The challenge is to go .500 and that starts tonight

Going 10-5 with a non-conference schedule I thought would produce an 8-7 record at best has given me hope, but everyone has to stay healthy and I consider tonight's game a "must win"
