Bowl Wins
It is curious to me that some on this board have said mediocre bowl wins don't count for much. Of course, they matter to the Team, matter to the Conference, and many of the Fans, but most importantly, they matter to the recruits. I have read that most of the kids we are recruiting or have committed mentioned the Bowl win over the MWC Champ. So again, congrats on ending the season on a high note.

I agree. Every bowl win is a good win. Players can share their bowl experience and bowl goodies with recruits. Playing at a school that goes to the post season means a lot to recruits. One can debate the merits of specific bowl wins but winning a bowl makes it easier to get better recruits than losing or not going at all.
