Tulane Game Thread - 2pmModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmjust make a few more FTs and move on to USM...they may be the best team we've played this year
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmor another dunk
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmSolid win guys. Godfather!
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmany conference win is a good win...especially against a current and future conference mate
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmEspecially with the foul trouble and lack of depth we dealt with today. Cotton came up big.
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmwouldn't bet on the conference mate thing sticking too long. good win though
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmgood conference win, finally.

Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmgood balanced scoring with 4 guys in double figures when we don't even reach 60 pts. That's what this team needs to be effective
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pm
I would rather have a good bull banging around on people than a Big Man who plays soft. Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmGood win! Bring on Southern Miss who absolutely destroyed Houston. This will be the Greek rush game though, should have a decent crowd.
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmHow does Dickerson look?
On the radio, it is hard to tell if he is getting minutes b/c he is earning playing time or if it is the result of foul trouble. Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pmHe played well particularly defensively and blocks.
Brown is so great in post game. When asked about how good we were with blocks on defense, he said he didn't like blocks cause it meant we were getting beat on the dribble penetration. Pure gold. An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and
doesn't care who wins. -- Dwight D. Eisenhower
Re: Tulane Game Thread - 2pm
Its both. He only gets minutes because of foul trouble, but he also is looking better when he is out there. He had two really impressive blocks tonight and last game he made a nice move to the rim and scored at point blank range. He is getting better. In fact, I loved his defense tonight. We don't need him to score, we need him to go in there and give Jalen or Cunningham a blow and wreak havoc. His perfect line would be 8 minutes played...2 points....4 blocks....4 fouls....Get in there and scare someone. Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!
