I hear this year may be the best class in the history of SMU.

So exciting. I also hear we're only about a recruiting class and a half away from breaking out.

Well, after that recruiting class learns this super complex offense- that will be another 3 years.

Signing Day is the first Wednesday in February.
Not sure where any alumni event is.

Tough night to expect a big turnout for signing day event, Memphis vs SMU in moody at 7pm.

Didn't that happen last year?
Go watch the recruits' highlights, have a beer and then head to Moody!

Now that is a great idea. Probably too good to happen though!

Too many people. I don't think there is anywhere at Moody to host the 250 plus who show up. The major drawback to holding it elsewhere on campus is lack of alchohol.

It will probably be in the same place it always is.

Up to two years ago, it was always, we are a class and a half from the BCS.

Last year, it was the best class we have recruited because all of the kids will actually make it to school.

Not sure what this year's theme will be. We got caught this year. Traditionally, we ID players at camps and get a jump on everyone. This year, all the decent players committed earlier than ever. We got caught in that, which is why we are already so active in the 2014 class. I suspect this year we will hear "I am really excited about some of the kids in this class", but not really play it up more than that.

As far as the 2013 class goes, I sure hope Baxter makes it in because I think he is not eligible yet.

I will guarantee that this is labeled the "best class in the history of SMU". It's how these things go.

Wouldn't be surprised if the after party is located on a golf course in Hawaii

I know June and Wes Suan are still in Hawaii as of today but they will probably be back by signing day.
