DALLAS (SMU) - SMU linebacker Ja'Gared Davis will play in the Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Game on Sat., Feb. 2. Davis is the sixth Mustang to be selected for a post-season all-star contest, joining Bryan Collins (Casino Del Sol), Aaron Davis (NFLPA), Margus Hunt (Senior Bowl), Zach Line (Shrine Game) and Taylor Reed (NFLPA).

Since June Jones' arrival on the Hilltop, 10 former Mustangs have gone on to play in the NFL: Thomas Morstead, Emmanuel Sanders, Bryan McCann, Aldrick Robinson, Sterling Moore, Cole Beasley, Josh LeRibeus, Richard Crawford, Taylor Thompson and Kelvin Beachum."

By any measure, that is impressive.
