new Moody can't get here fast enough; hope we haven't over-estimated the number of supporters we have willing to pay premium prices. Improved product just in time for the new arena should certainly help

smusic 00 wrote:$525 per seat with a minimum $1,000 donation. That's for the "Club Level" - what we now call the 'blue seats' - on the ends past the basket. For a seat where you can see the court, the donation goes up to $2,500.

In other words they are royally giving it to those of us who had lower level seats for the last few years. What cost $1000 as recently as a year ago will now cost $4000.

If you have a Mustang club donation does it apply to both football and basketball? I hope so, someone who wants quality seats at both would have to fork out a motherload of cash otherwise.

The ticket prices aren't bad at all. They are just trying to get folks to up their MC donation.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the MC donation for the stadium club at Ford bumped to 5K for 2014 to match this. They are basically trying to get another 1K or 1500 out of people in order to get basketball and football seats.

The deal for the upper sideline seats sounds great, because most people already donate that much.

no, but when you donate to the Mustang Club, I believe you can specify whether you wnt your donation to go exclusively to one sport. At least they once did that.

You can, but to use your donation for season tickets it has to go to the general fund.

agree with those that say this pricing strategy had to be based on the old Big East schedule. Uconn and Cincy are not enough now though, even if they do stay. Need a huge upgrade to the non-conf schedule. How bout getting a game against UT to open the building? We should already know who is going to open the building and start pumping it up soon. remember 9.2.2000?

I agree with the UT idea. We should have the talent to compete with and possibly beat the Horns next season. Plus, nothing will get us more attention than beating Big XII schools, specially UT. Just like in football. JJ has a chance to make a statement in OOC next season - Tech, Baylor, TCU and Aggy. We have to show up and be competitive those games, hopefully win a couple. Still to this day the win that I believe vaulted TCU back into big time college football was when they went to Norman and beat OU. That opened everyone's eyes. The Rose Bowl win cemented the deal but the OU win was their signature victory. We have to win a game like that soon.

I thought we were opening the new Moody against a Big East opponent?
