There is no mystery. What is the one thing that connects all the a-holes mentioned? They are or were the dominant force in their sports. We celebrate greatness no matter what form it may present itself. I'm not saying its right just that its the way it is.

It's very, very hard to be as dominant as a Jordan or an Armstrong and not be a very difficult human being. We are prideful beings.

I agree. Those kinds of personalities don't care what others think about them.

Point is that you or I might be even worse given their situations. I like Lance Armstrong. Always have and imagine I always will.

If you'll notice, he has never had any support from the people of Plano (where he grew up). There is a reason -> he was a d' head growing up.

If you look at the people he beat during his TDF victories, something like 90% of the Top 10 in those races are proven dopers. In winning his races, he was doping against other dopers. Frankly, I assumed he was cheating.

But, he appears to be a sociopath who destroys anyone who questions anything he does:
1) He used his leverage with Trek to destroy Greg Lemond's bike company;
2) He labeled an assistance all kinds of horrible things b/c she told the truth; and
3) He labeled Betsy Andreau as '' for telling the truth.
