played 5 minutes???? Is that a misprint in the box score or did he suddenly become eligible?

At which box score are you looking? The one on smumustangs.com doesn't show anything:

And no, Head didn't play. Holyfield did play 2 minutes though.

That's funny. It looks like they gave four of Cunningham's minutes to Head somehow.

Maybe ESPN has more Head room.

Holyfield wore his number so CBS gametracker showed Head playing

along those lines, I've wondered how JFrog is immediately eligible at Tenn Tech but Head is not eligible here. I assume the rule is that if your scholarship is not renewed, you are free to transfer without sitting out a year?

Did Holyfield play enough to make any assessment about him?

no, but he picked up 2 quick fouls; the 1st was away from the ball and left coach with his head in the palms of his hands. He's not going to impact this year's results

Holyfield was more muscular and a little better than I thought he'd be (judging from Monday's practice). Crandall is going to be a nice asset and would be one of our best players now...good defender, pretty nice slasher. More excited about Nic Moore and Markus Randolph, possibly because we need a pg and a big body but both of those guys are ballers, no doubt. Nic Moore looks like a guy you'd want with you in a fight - bad looking dude.

Randolph looked great. cant wait to see him out there with Cunningham together.

I thought Crandall Head also looked great - very smooth.

This program is going to be really exciting in less then a year. Very exciting. It will be hard to get on the floor soon - we are fixin to go from the shortest bench in basketball to a pretty deep team.

I think Kennedy and Moriera start with Cannen adding quality depth to the bench imo.

I think he meant Markus Kennedy.
