And don't forget "Basketball Head" guy. He was pure greatness. May have actually been the same gut that was Wolfman. We need more of this!

No, "Basketball Head" guy was not the same as Wolfman, sorry. The basketball head is in my garage somewhere, I saw it recently, but dont have any plans to put it back on. I did dress up as Santa Claus at the womens basketball game right before Christmas this year. Peruna and I posed for pictures with kids and cheerleaders, etc. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I'll put some up.

Over the years I've actually been Santa several times, dressed as a turkey once on Thanksgiving, and was Homer Simpson one Halloween (I gave away donuts to fans). Wore a gorilla suit on 2 or 3 occasions, as well. Never wolfman, though, that was somebody else.

Some of my greatest nights. Even at my age the memories are fresh.

The Coliseum Parking Lot. Dirt field parking lot on the south side of Moody while I was in school late 60's early 70's. Do not know how long it stayed that way. It was the place that you could go "parking" with your date and not be disturbed. The campus police drove around the lot but never on the property. You knew you would not be disturbed. There was one occasion that someone got out of their car and went to another car to harass or pick a fight with someone. About 3 other guys got out of their cars, beat the crap out of the guy and threw him back into his car. The place was sacred ground.

Balatro. More please. Maybe a Bunny suit on Moody's last game?

CPL. Good story. You old guys are always good for some great SMU historical nuggets. We need to post that 1955 map of Dallas again. Of course I think I may qualify as an old guy now.

As mrydel said, the CPL was territory where you could park and drink w/out trouble from the SMU Security or HP police. It was always fun to watch on Mondays, as the Air Force ROTC boys would walk a straight line across the lot, "policing" for trash, ie. picking up used latex products, bottles and cans from the weekend. Another SMU tradition. 8)

Technically we still have one, but students that want to do the program have to commute to UNT

Easter, but I got the date wrong. Perhaps a Charioteer in honor of Equirria: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equirria
