"But where does he fit with Shead, Wimbley, Nlemchi, Seeker, Williams, etc? I don't know. I'd bet that's one of the more hotly contested spots in spring ball."
Whateve happened to the player who broke his leg in the Compass Bowl against Pittsburg; I seem to recall he was from Florida. Is he still on the team ?
When Shawnbrey was here … he was the guy, Zach was his back-up. The Zach then did not look anything like the Zach we saw going forward. The Zach/Fields comp never unfolded as Fields did not make the grade and only lasted one season, but we saw glimpses of what he could do. I agree the coaches should and will make the decision. But Zach is Zach and Prescott is Prescott, one is not the other, and high school states mean nothing now.
If Prescott earns the spot … God Bless him … may the best and most deserving man win. I believe the job is Sneads to lose, just as it was GG to lose when he came in. At 6’2” 230 speed and power … the wheels to take it 100 to the house, it’s going to have to be something other than a lack of talent and athleticism that loses the job for Snead IMO … I.E. can’t grasp the offense, can’t pass block at all, gets in trouble etc. Maybe this is the year we see a little rotation at the RB spot. It would have been fun to watch a Snead/Zach competition and duo. The whole idea is to upgrade and get better … sooner (rather then later ... hopefully) it will happen at RB too.
Prescott is a tough/strong kid with grit and heart just like the Zach … and he has talent too. I wish him the best … but I wish the Mustangs the best most of all.
Jerrod Williams was the young man hurt in the Compass bowl. He is back, but still working to get back ... don't know if he will ever be 100% ... good luck and God Bless him. Nlemchi, now that is kid is a stud too. The only thing I have heard is lack of pass blocking and grasping the "O", which of course is enough to keep you out of the line-up.

No sarcasm. With a far inferior offense to what ED had, and as single set back Line was able to almost catch ED rushing yards and tied TD record. Just my opinion as both were great.
