I grew up with [deleted] Blaylock-went to Elementry School, St, Mark's, and then he lived on your floor with my twin brother right across from Ford/Simmons. The dreaded Boaz Hall right? Anyway, Blaylock was on a Teacher/Staff Scholarship coming out of high school but was put on full scholarship after he lettered as a true freshman

Though not perfect, I have an honorable profession now and I have no desire to denigrate my kinda good name.

Re: Help List The SMU Football Playing Greeks
[deleted] was a year behind me. We graduated the same year as I was a slow learner. Thus, we may have been in the same dorm but not at the same time.
[deleted] was my roommate when we traveled to Columbus to play OSU in '78. He and I had bought our favorite soft drink and headed back to the room. He then put me (and himself) to the Pepsi challenge. Back then there was a commercial for Pepsi where folks blind tasted test Pepsi and Coke. Obviously they only showed the Pepsi preferred moments.
Anyway, [deleted] and I picked our favorite soft drink but I gotta say I was sweating it because they were so close.
[deleted] also had all the receivers and TEs over to his house for a very nice evening meal one Sunday during the fall in 1978. That was the one meal where we didn’t have a cafeteria available to us. It was a fabulous meal and [deleted] and his parents were gracious host and hostesses. And I really thought It was a class move cause so many of our teammates had limited resources and access to meals on Sunday evening. [deleted] is one class act guy.

I believe there were some. Interestingly, they all played center.
Also, I understand during the same time frame, all the QBs were Sig Eps !
