Greetings Sportsfans:

Stuck inside b/c of the snow again, I decided to celebrate indoors today:
1) Made another batch of apple pie moonshine;
2) Found some "Deep Eddy Vodka" at the local liquor store. Bought some b/c it reminds me of Texas; and
3) Enjoying watching SMU play Tulane on TV.

On the other hand, I am a little depressed . Two weeks ago, I finally bit the bullet and joined a Country Club. Now, I am going to have to figure out how to pay for it with another "present" from my wife arriving in the Fall.

At the game. Larry's coaching but tahey don't seem to be implementing. Frustrating.

this game comes down to our not having a true PG or any depth...that has resulted in 12 turnovers and once we got into foul trouble and had to go to the bench it became a different ball game.


as Coach Brown says "better get us now" because next year it looks like our bench will be as strong as this year's starting team, and this year's starters have been pretty competitive

oh...and it would be nice to have some 3 pt shooters. When Tulane couldn't hit a trey, we were killing them, but once they started hitting it was a different game. Once we have depth and can run up and down the floor and not be afraid to take open threes, this is going to be a copletely different SMU team.
