Nah, I still think you get in winning the conference, just a low seed.

Anyway, just so typical of Rhonda's teams, how disappointing...

Our RPI will be on the high 50s, with no wins against the top 75. It will be a miracle if we get in now.

That being said, if you told us at the beginning of the season that we would make the WNIT, that wouldn't be a disappointment.

Rompola just has never gotten it done here-especially in these venues.

She has won several conference tournaments several regular season titles and made the NCAA field multiple times. What do you consider not getting it done?

Exactly right. I'm with everyone else, the end of the regular season and the CUSA tournament sucked, but we outkicked our coverage by miles. I'm pissed that we lost, but I'm on board with the WNIT. If it's within driving range, I'm there. Go Mustangs!

Just add this number 1 seed, one and done, to the long list of choke jobs.

Yeah we were picked to finish 8th but that was before anybody knew how game-changing Mays would be.

We had a three game lead with four to go and had to hope for others to lose just to win the conference and then went out as a 1 seed. Disappointing.

I swear smu is the only team who would lose as a #1 to an 8. Reverse the roles and guarantee we lose by 30 to the #1 as an 8 seed

So true.

Not that it's any consolation, but 3 of the 4 teams with byes lost today.

I am so disappointed with our tanking at the end of the season. Were we out-coached? Seemed like the last 5 games we played, they had our number. We should make the WNIT and need a good showing. Get us back on track. Rhonda.

We are already int the WNIT as CUSA regular season champions. That is a guarantee.

I'm sure she will be at the top of many D-1 schools' lists in a search for a new women's coach. As remarkable as she has been on the Hilltop, I'm surprised she has been here as long as she has. You'd think they'd be beating down her door.

Renew her contract. Don't rock the Title IX boat. We can't afford it.
