Giving CampaignI was browsing some other universities who started their giving campaign around the same time ours started, and they have easily surpassed 1B (Syracuse, Cincinatti). Will the reduced student population eventually put SMU at a disadvantage in sports, academics, and everything else? I know there are quite a few billionaire donors who are contributing, but I see us eventually slipping further and further behind. If we look at the athletics, we may always be looking from the outside in.
Re: Giving CampaignSyracuse as a school has dropped in rankings and quality. they need to be taking notes from us, not the other way around.
There are very few that have raised what we have done in 4 yrs. we are at 700M.
Re: Giving Campaignare you saying we raised $700M in 4 yrs?
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
Re: Giving Campaignyes - we started in fall of 08 - so technically i guess it has been 4.5 years.
Re: Giving Campaignwow!!! pretty good then!!!
