When was the last winning season that Rice had?

Rice had back to back 7-4 seasons in 1996 & 1997 and went 8-4 in 2001 with nary a bowl game to show for it

they also played the Seven Sisters of the Bottom 10 to pad that record. Every time they've had a chance to actually earn a bowl they have folded like a stack of cards in November.
