Scout says Lamar center Braylon Hyder (6-3, 270) has committed to SMU, making it 3 commitments from Lamar for next year, and 5 over 2 years.

I think they have a safety with tons of offers. More highly recruited than any we've gotten so far including Minor. THAT would be awesome. Now, I'm waiting for the Skyline pipeline to start popping. If we can open up both, we'll be competitive in TX again.

John Bonney, a 6'1 safety. Has regional offers from UT, TTech, TCU, SMU, OK, Okie State, LSU, Houston, Baylor and a bunch more.
