we lost our first game that year. didn't sniff the sweet 16.

I think we actually opened against Old Dominion and beat them before losing to Loyola in the 2nd round

We lost to Loyola once, but it wasnt in 93. It was Koncak's senior year, would have been 84 or 85.

No, we lost 80-71 to BYU in the first round.

that was Shumate's team that won the SWC title, then lost a 1st round SWC Tourney game but got an "at large" bid...only to lose to BYU in the 1st round. As I recall, it was the '93 team and that was a 7/10 seed game
