Wasn't this broken by Kincade's 1 yardline to 1 yardline 98 yard fumble play? I wonder how that one will be rated.

Wasn't Kincade's play on a runback, or a pass play? I don't think it was a rushing play off the scrimage line, but I really don't remember and if it was a turnover, it may have broken a record for the longest run to give the ball away...not exactly a "great moment".

Pretty sure it was a run but I am old and feeble minded. However, if I am correct, it is the record for longest run from scrimmage, and definitely will stand forever as the longest run from scrimmage without scoring.

True story - took a buddy of mine to his first game at Ford Stadium and right before the ball was snapped, he said, "Watch him break it here." I was too smart and replied that Briggs was too slow to run 96 yards.

I still can't believe Briggs made it all the way down the sideline on that play. I didn't think he had the wheels to outrun DBs, but what a great play that was!
