people are actually interested enough to scroll down to check out the SEC. When you are irrelevant, can't hurt to be the 1st one seen. Our commish is a former CBS guy; that's what made me stop and think about this (I check CBS website frequently). As far as the conference name, I actually agree with those who liked the "American Metro Conference" as some of our members once participated as members of the old "Metro"

Sure, it can't hurt. I just know I haven't paid any extra attention to the ACC in recent years.

the only way we become known is to start beating "relevant" teams. Start beating those top 25 schools and become part of the scrolling scores that everyone is forced to see multiple times every gameday

It is a real shame that Louisville will not be in our conference long-term. I would have liked to see what the conference would be with the 10 we will have next season long-term.

I agree. Would have been a pretty strong bball conference, even with the other teams leaving.
