Not surprised. We're going to be really young up front on both lines. I do think Traylon Shead has a great chance of being a real game-changer and a guy that is 1st Team All-AAC worthy. Also, Taylor Lasecki and Stephon Sanders are of that caliber.
Back off Warchild seriously.

always interesting to compare these pre-season lists with post-season lists. Wouldn't be surprised to see Stephon Sanders move into that list of LBs by season's end

We are well represented considering three preseason mags pick us in the 90s. I take it Steele won't have us that low.

Re: 2013 Preseason All-American Athletic Conf Team
I predict that on the post season lists, with the changes in the offense, either Shead or GG will move up a spot, another WR will make the list, and an OL will make the list.
I had us at 6-6 going into last season. I am much, much more bullish on our offense this year because of changes made to offensive schemes, added experience with GG and better depth and play at WR and the OL.
Defensively, at least one more LB will make the lists. Pope, Seals, Sanders, and Yenga are all really, really good players. Wright could sneak in a DT. Not sure if Parks will start, so that is a risk at corner, but I do think we will have another corner on the list. Scott is a surprise to me.

What do you have us going into this season?

It's in the other thread, but 9-3. Sounds high, but I think we are significantly improved and there are a lot of bad teams in this conference next year.

What about no 23? There is a reason he wears Levias' jersey.
