You'd be surprised how many show up because you sell beer in the stadium. The selling of alcohol at our athletic events eventually lead to a UH tradition called Cougar Brew. It's a red beer full of secrets one isn't supposed to discuss. All you need to know is that you drink it and it makes you feel good.


And of course we sell St. Arnold's, a brand of beer exclusively brewed in Houston.

Cougar Brew is Bud Light with food coloring, and St. Arnold's blows compared to Deep Ellum Brewing Company.

The Corral is a great idea, but why not set up the Corrall at the very front of The Boulevard? Its a much shorter walk to the stadium and all the people at The Corrall can see the line of folks headed to Ford. Just a thought.

Why not set up the corral in the stadium? Perhaps in the concession stands?

Or in the stadium / s endzone to get people in stadium early. If in pregame, get stamped. Stamp gets u back in halftime.

DEBC is good? Need to check it out. I'm on an extended west coast brew kick right now

Deep Ellum suffers from the same mentality of a lot of other craft brewers like Peticolas. The urge to overdo it with high alcohol and/or tons of flavors all the time. Good stuff but I'm not always in the mood for hardcore blast in the face. I prefer Lakewood Brewing or Franconia. Solid, balanced beers.

The bill in the Texas Legislature this week will change Texas Breweries.... now u can drink and imbibe at the brewer AND bring it home......a huge deal.

That is a big deal. Wasn't aware of that. I'm a traditionalist, but there's a lot of good stuff happening stateside. Anchor Steam will always be *the* session brew to me.
