That is crazy, sorry for you guys that happened. How do you feel about the next guy(s) in line?

Our current starter is former Hurst Bell standout Kenneth Farrow who is more of a power back and speedster Ryan Jackson, both of whom rushed for about 800 yards combined. When Sims was out for a few games due to an injury, they split time in the backfield, alternating between series.

I don't believe Farrow saw the field in our last meeting.

He saw the field but didn't do much. Though it was probably hard to get going with the QBs either getting knocked out or throwing the ball to the defense every other play.

Farrow was running some, returned some kickoffs. I know a family member and sat with them a while so I noticed.

They did have a few kickoff returns that night.

More about UH view of AAC

Post by Sam I Am »

UH has built more on-campus housing now than UT Austin to overcome their reputation as a commuter school. With 40K enrollment and their TV market, as soon as they get their fan support up higher the Coogs plan to leave us behind. They've had their Coach Sumlin level football and we have JJ. So tell me, what are our chances of viewing the AAC as a stepping stone in five years too?

Our chances are lousy, just like every other team in the conference. No one is going anywhere unless they win a lot, fill up their stadium every game and draw high ratings. Judging from the recent histories of all those programs, attaining all three for any extended period of time will be extremely difficult (which is why they're all in this leftover conference to begin with).

USM hosed

Post by Sam I Am »

The U. of Sothern Mississippi has won good (except for 2012) and has good attendance, but no TV market. So they have been left out of even the AAC. How's that for getting hosed? The Power 5 Conferences (P5C) are probably not adding more teams for a while, meaning all the rest of us are "stuck out."

Southern Miss isn't getting screwed nearly as much as it looked like they were back when this whole thing started (perhaps not even at all anymore). With the hits this new conference has taken it'll basically be a C-USA doppelganger starting in 2014 (once the autobid disappears, Louisville and Rutgers leave and all the prime bowls get taken).

I can assure you that your lobbyist friend has no special insight. Ut-San Antonio might even have a better chance at getting into a better conference than cougar high.

Then why weren't they invited to the AAC over us? Don't shoot yourself in the foot because I will rip anything you say to shreds.

That cougar high is the place to be. (As long as you love 7-11 career paths) Excuse me while I go use the money I earned (from using my SMU degree to get a real job) to go buy a house less than 2 years after graduating. Peace!
